What I Can Do for Your Pet
Squishy Paws Pet Care is a service offering dog walking and other pet care services such as feeding of cats, rabbits and other small domestic pets, cleaning out litter trays etc.
I am based in Devizes and also cover surrounding villages, I'm fully insured with public liability and have an up to date DBS check. I also have an in date certificate in dog first aid and emergency canine care.
Putting Your Pet First
I offer solo dog walks, or more than one dog from the same household, as I like to concentrate 100% on the dog in my care, after all it is not just a dog, it is someone's pride and joy, a member of their family. That said, this does not mean there won't be any dog socialising. We often meet other dogs on our walks.
I will come to your house and collect your dog/s, then either walk or drive to our walking destination. The walking time starts from when we start the walk, not from collection. After the walk, your dog/s will be offered a drink of water before being returned to you. If you are not at home, your dog/s will be let in the home, where instructions of any feeding etc will be followed.
All dogs must be microchipped by law, and must be good walking on a lead. All dogs that are walked are lead walked initially to build up a good relationship, and will only be let off the lead with owners permission and only when it is safe to do so.
Prior to the commencement of any dog walks, we will arrange a convenient time to do a meet and greet, and go through all necessary paperwork.
Please note, your dog/s may come home wet and muddy. Always leave towels out for me to dry them off as best as I can. If you don't want them getting onto furniture etc following their walk, consider closing doors so they can't have access.
Responsible & Reliable
If you are going to be away from home for a day or more, I can come to your home to feed and play with your pet or clean out any litter trays, hutches etc, following all instructions.
Beforehand I will come to your home and meet you and your pet and ask you to fill out some simple forms.
Pets covered are dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish. If you don't see your pet listed, please ask.
I love taking care of animals and am available for all of your pet’s needs.
Price List
£15
For an hours walk
Your dog will be collected and then either the walk will start from your home, or if we travel be car, the hour will start from upon reaching our destination and we are ready to walk. Your dog will always be offered a drink of water after each walk. If it is a hot day, then water will be offered throughout our walk. Additional dogs from the same home will be an additional £10 per dog.
Half an hour walks are also available for £10 for one dog. Additional dogs from the same home will be an additional £5 per dog.
